I'm still trying to just bring everything full-circle because I guess I'm missing something, because at the beginning of the video she made it a point to mention that she was part of the only black party in the room but if that ended up being relevent later on, I don't see how...

Friend of mine once ran after a diner who left only the spare change (I mean COINS) on the table after he left. THREW it at them in the car, and told them, "Clearly, you need this money more than I do!" and then stomped back into the restaurant. And the waiter friend? He became the GM of the restaurant! Wow. Does the lady understand that if paying for her mutherfucking food was her only penuniary obligation for eating at a sit-in restaurant, she should eat at Wendy's? And she is sadly broadcasting a certain stereotype about a certain group of people and tipping.
As for the server--generally I would say that chasing someone down in the parking lot and lecturing them about tipping is unprofessional. Maybe a 'did I offend you? why would you do this to me?' tone would have worked. But, specifically, if someone ran up a 164 dollar tab and gave me 8 shitty bucks, I'd probably chase her butt down, too. Where I work, that would be about 1.50 after tip-out, credit card fees, and taxes.

Don't go to a mutha-fuckin' restaurant if you're not ready to pay 20 mutha-fuckin' percent! And pay it in cash! Next time, stay your ass at Taco Bell! I was once with a big party and I left 25% on my share. Somehow the waitress ended up with a $4 tip on a $200+ dollar tab, and I was embarrassed she had to ask if everything was all right. Oh, and I am not black.
